Default Has Avid announced the upgrade from HD yet?

I remember hearing there was to be a sizable incentive program to get current HD users with Digi hardware onto the new hardware and HDX cards. I can't really find any info on this.

Has Avid released any upgrade paths yet or is that still coming?

Is there any upgrade path to get an Avid 16x16 i/o?

I have an HD3 system with 2 analog 192 that I'd like to trade for an HDX 1 with Avid 16x16 i/o.

I don't seem to see any path for this yet. Anyone else know of anything?

Here's one for you

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HDXHD3-HDXana

It's only one I/O though, so you could always sell the other and buy a new HD I/O or maybe sweetwater can deal something for you.

Aside from the HDX trade up, separately there is another trade up where you trade in a legacy interface (including the blue ones) and get $1000 off any of the new HD interfaces. If you do this and get the HD IO, you also get a free copy of HEAT.

You will get HEAT with the HDX system, though, so if you get one with the trade in, you can just sell that copy brand new to someone, offsetting your costs a little bit.

Heat did not come with my new HDX system.

Are there any upgrades with a HD 16x16 digital interface?

@Ron,

The Heat page on the website, last time I checked, still said that it came with the purchase of any HD system. It would be strange to take that away for HDX.

@Wolfgang,

The HD Digital should also qualify. Check with your dealer.
