comping
just curious how you guys comp tracks in pt. vocal takes for example. i am a long time sony vegas user and just recently got in to pt. in vegas, i could record multiple takes into the same "event" (region in pt?) then later slice and dice and simply scroll through takes for each section by hitting "T". i could even switch takes mid word. i am thinking it is not going to be that easy in pt. can i do something similar in pt, or do i have to spread my takes over multiple tracks?

Re: comping
Using multiple Tracks is one possible approach, using multiple playlists within the same track another one.
See i.e. http://www.digidesign.com/digizine/a...04/groundwork/ for more details.
