Today's AIR FX and Instrument 2023.3 updates re-install 2023.2!

Avid link states that the AIR bundles have been updated to native Apple M1 Silicon with the 2023.3 update. Running the installer in Avid link, re-installs the 2023.2 versions - oops.

Downloaded and installed manually... edit: using the 2023.2 installers in My Products downloads.

All Air Effects are now version 1.2.11.2411fa7

Air Instruments Boom, DB33, MiniGrand, Vacuum are now version 1.2.11.7db087e Air Instruments XPand!2 is now version2.2.11.78f793e

The Air Instruments installer does not include an update for Structure Free, that's exists as a x86 only plugin in previous installers.... so again raising questions of the status of Structure Free, which has been discussed in other threads (e.g. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=422911) , and which Avid is still advertising as included in the Complete Plugin Bundle.

Hi do you have a link to the installers? I've tried through avid link and they don't seem to be updating. Also on my account the installers are listed as 2023.2.

Those 2023.2 installers *are* the ones you want. That date code never matches the plugin build versions.

Something weird going on, Avid Link downloads the 2023.2 dmgs and installs them but insists there is a 2023.3 update. There’s also a post on the Facebook Pro tools user group claiming that Pro Tools 2023.3 was out for a bit and then removed. We’ll see.

News that Avid Link is brain dead is not news.

There was lots of folks including me suspecting that the hold up on shipping a non-beta version of Pro Tools Apple silicon support was Air plugin availability. So maybe they are ready to rock and roll. But Avid better scramble and fix Avid Complete Plugin Bundle includes Structure Free claims if they are going to ship without it....

Current version of the AIR Effects Bundle is 2023.2, and this has been fixed in Avid Link.
