Sample Rounding Issue!!!!

Quite unbelievable this still hasn't been fixed. Just bumped into it on 2019.6.

I outright agree that this bug makes PT completely unusable to do any kind of MIDI composing/editing. It's a real shame!

Agreed, but it's not a real shame.......it's ridiculous!

It's still there. Unbelievable. It forces me to do midi programming on PT11

I run into all the time with MIDI. I had an interesting twist the other day. I selected and copied a MIDI clip on the same track over a few measures. On playback, the first 2 clips played, but then the first beat of the same copied clip in the 3rd copy did NOT play. ????

Relative or Absolute Grid ?? just curious ... i have seen the Heads of many midi tracks chopped off or would not play consistently ..

is this your case as well ?? chopped off or would not play consistently !! or in your case might not be playing back consistently ..

I change the track to "tick based" and that solves my sample routing issues. Although I've never tried it with MIDI so try that. Its annoying but it works

AVID are never going to take this bug seriously while there are people popping up on here saying, "Have you tried ticks mode?" Or worse still, "I tried ticks mode and that solved my problem."

If you don't know the difference between sample and ticks mode, or have never heard of them, you should be banned form any further postings on this thread.

If you read some of the earlier posts on this thread you will see that tick mode makes no difference to this random & extremely frustrating bug.
