Default Elastic audio problem

I'm a newbie. I'm trying to use elastic audio in Pro Tools 10. After the track is analyzed, when I go to analysis view or warp view, there are no transient markers. I've tried monophonic, polyphonic, and rhythmic on a number of different kinds of tracks. I have watched numerous tutorials. In all of them, they have transient markers in the track after it is analyzed. Any help would be appreciated.

I use:
Windows 7, 64 bits
500 GB HD
4 GB RAM
Presonus Audiobox USB
Pro Tools 10 HD

Select the clip. Go to Clip > Elastic Audio Properties and adjust the Event Sensitivity.

When you first turn EA on it puts the analysis markers in (the grey/black lines in warp or analysis view) but not any warp markers. To change them into warp markers manually, in warp view with either the grabber or smart tool, hover over the analysis marker until you see the double-arrow <-> and double click. Now you should see the blue triangle marker on the bottom of the analysis marker and be able to start warping the audio. You can also Shift+Click a marker to create warp markers on the one you click and the ones just before and after it.

Alternately, if you plan on quantizing the audio you can select the regions and use the Event Operations window (Event drop down menu > Event Operations > Quantize or Option+NumPad 0) to do so. When PT quantizes the regions it will create the necessary warp markers in the process.

That's what I am expecting normally, but in my case it also puts some (unwanted) warp markers... why ??? If I try to delete them it changes my waveform timing
I'm on PT 10 HD on MacPro / mavericks
