Default Cleaning older Control 24 Armrest

What's the tried and true solution to restoring/cleaning/maintaining the armrest? Thanks!

If I remember correctly, the manual states that nothing stronger than water should be used. That being said, I've also had one heck of a time getting the armrest clean using only water. It's like a "gummy" substance that attracts EVERYTHING! So, I second this post, if anyone else has a good idea on how to remove finger prints, grime, or drool - from the occasional drummer who likes to play with the knobs Please share with us.

No Way! Are you talking about one of those "feather dusters". It seems to me it would fall apart if used to "scrub" the armrest. Are we talking about the same thing here?

Hah, I just tried something stronger than water... and yeah, don't do it. It makes the whole panel feel like a peel-off sticker....

trying to find a way now to get it back a bit to how it was (i.e. non sticky)

May I suggest a bit of saddle soap? Try a small area and see. Then buff it out.
