core audio/3rd party apps
i run a 2.3dp g5, 10.4.2, ptle6.9.2cs, woth 002 rack. i've scoured these forums, the troubleshooting tips, etc. my ptle works fine, but i cannot get any of my third party apps (specifically peak 4.14, jam6, toast 6) to be recognized by the core audio manager.
any suggestions are appreciated. codfish |

Re: core audio/3rd party apps
Can you 'Get Info' on the Core Audio driver - it should be version 6.9.2cs2. If it isn't (or even if it is), you should probably trash it, reinstall the Core Audio driver from the 6.9.2 updater, then run the cs2 updater again.

YES!
thank you for the suggestion...it was the source of my trouble. i deleted all core audio items and re-installed the 6.9.2 update, and then the cs update and, as you predicted, this did the trick.
i've been a ptle user for over 10 years, and now i'm a working one again! thank you for responding. codfish |
