custom \"quick keys\" or macros
Hi,
I'm hoping I can find a way of "saving/recalling" surround panner settings at the touch of a button. I use the pan function for "bus assignment" ie, L=bus1, Lc=bus2, C=bus3, Rc=bus4, R=bus5, Ls=bus6, Rs=bus7, etc. At current, for precision, I have to call up the "channel output window" and click on the corresponding speaker icon to "switch" between "buses". I'd like to be able to just "push a button" on my keyboard to automatically recall pan parameters on a specific channel to accomplish this....no mousing. Meaning, for example, I focus a track and push command+1 and my pan parameters for that track are set to L, I push command+2 and my pan parameters are set to Lc, etc, etc....I assume every single solitary keystroke is already used within ProTools for a function..... Is there a way to do this using ProTools,..or is there a reliable third party software that will allow me to do this?.... Hoping that there is an answer, John |
