Hidden feature? - Half Speed Commit
As far as I know this is an undocumented feature in Pro Tools - Half speed Commit. Do other people get the same behaviour?

Re: Hidden feature? - Half Speed Commit
May be it's a hidden feature but how it helps comparing to using a proper (e.g Serato P'n time pro) or native PT built in time stretching? With Serato I have my short cuts and its way faster, doesn't create extra channels and has no fixed limitations like 1/2 speed only.
Also I feel it more convenient to make those pitch tasks inside the SoundMiner before spotting effects it PT. I either find myself using commit function in even huge PT sessions.... But yes, it is a hidden feature ;-)

Re: Hidden feature? - Half Speed Commit
But it's kind of a fun bug.

I love this. The number of times I’ve accidentally hit half speed playback and it’s sounded amazing. Then I’ve wished there was an easy way to capture it.

Re: Hidden feature? - Half Speed Commit
If this is a bug, then coding it as a feature should't be too hard, right?
