These things take time. The word is, Avid's own Sibelius is getting Native support on next release. Last "plugin" I have been waiting. Disclaimer: I do not contribute on Sibelius beta, and what I posted is hearsay. Things can always change the last minute. But surely last moments for anyone to release Mx Native software or call it abandonware.

This new 2024 macOS already drops significant amount of Intel support and I would not be at all surprised if 2025 macOS will be Mx only. It would be +5yr since Mac Pro 2019. Still, I fear they must have one more year of Intel support, because last 2019's were sold H1/2023. If that is the case, likely *only* 2019 Mac Pro will be supported, but the Intel code is still there.

Does anyone know what the heck is happening with U-HE and all his other synths besides Diva re native A.S. and AAX?

The same page has been on his website for so long, that Avid didn't provide the needed SDK, however it seems to only be affecting u-he? I don't understand, are Avid purposely denying u-he? It's a bummer, I have wanted to buy Hive since the day I came back to music around 6 months ago now, I mean it's basically THE exact synth I need for EDM plucks and leads, but I check every week and it seems there is no update. The thing is, that everything in my entire plugin folder is AAX native Apple Silicon, and I have well over 500 AAX plugins there. Admittedly, 100 of those are from Waves alone, but sill, around 53 developers in my list, and all native A.S. AAX. Plus, Diva has been ported.. so.. are Avid trying to pro actively put a dent in the REST of u-he's ports, or is it just an excuse at this time for "we're busy and prioritising other things atm"?
If anyone knows of a good Hive alternative in the meantime, let me know. Obviously it has to be AAX and native hehe.
I will buy Diva soon but I have been waiting to buy both together so I can put them on a PayPal pay in 4.
TBH, I am interested in pretty much all of U-HE's synths and am just waiting. I have to do a pay in 4 for even one that is nearly 200 Euro, and I don't want multiple plans going at different times, hence why I just want to do one purchase. Well I guess all I can do is wait, but I guess I am writing this to fish the opinions of others and whether you think it's even going to happen.

Low key Acustica released the native AAX version of Nebula 4.5. I had no idea. No email from them. I just happened to check Aquarius for giggles and saw there was an update a few months ago. I am currently running TimP SSL comp in Pro Tools running natively. Myself and someone else I saw confirmed with AA support that AAX native support was coming but that it would be in the form of N5. Well, I guess that's not the case anymore because we are good to go!

I do know that Bazille was recently updated and there is now a 1.0 AAX version that is Apple Silicon native.

Good call because Hive is heavily discounted with a coupon code at:
https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/5392-Hive-2

But just today 3rd September!

P.S. I’m not affiliated or associated with Plugin Boutique.

Kush Audio have updated UBK to UBK-2. UBK users can upgrade for $49 by surrendering their v1 licence and they get v2 and a not for resale v1 licence to open old sessions
