Um hate to be the bearer of bad news but MBox only worked with PT LE. It's a completely different program and quite limited. If you have a working Mix system I'd leave it be and figure out why you're not getting output. MBox will just be an exercise in frustration even if you get the installer and authorization.

Does your Windows rig have an ADAT or AES input? Or you could locate an 888 or cheap ADAT DAC.

Of course those v5.1 sessions will open just find in modern PT. You'll miss out on some plugins but it's another option.
