EuControl & Mac Studio

Im having this issue as well. When I got my mac studio I migrated over. Was running PT 21.12 on monterey. My 4 S1s and tablets were working but I was having other issues and crashes. I updated PT to 22.4 and also updated the mac studio to OS 12.4. After that the S1s wouldn't work. I see it in eucontrol and it says they are attached and locked to PT but nothing happens when I open a session.

I've tried the rename and reboot, and reinstalls to no avail

Hmm, ok so its not the migration issue we have been seeing.



Can you open up the 3 items starting with EUCON_Node_Browser and send a shot of that. Don't worry if everything else is cutoff.

Any new thoughts on why my iPad app randomly closes and eucon seems to freeze up on my non migrated/clean install system? It’s becoming very frustrating reaching for a control that has stopped working throughout my work day.

Same issue here.. what a PITA…

Just trying here again hoping for some advice on a way to make things work like they used to. S3 freezes up very frequently, iPad app closes randomly, and dock stops responding occasionally. Oddly enough, it works much more reliably when using logic or other DAW's. But... that seems to be the case with this computer overall. Anyone having eucon run well with a mac studio?

Well, turns out running eucon in rosetta fixes it. Weird.....

I'm three days in on a clean-install Mac Studio Ultra, PT 2022.5,, EuControl 2022.4, macOS 12.3.1. S3/Dock. Avid Control crashes 2-3 times a day, S3 locked up yesterday. It's not terrible, hours go by and it's fine, but it's not the rock-solid Intel experience I was having on Mojave. My EuControl is running in Apple Silicon mode, btw.
