UAD-1 and DigiRewire causing crash??? help read my crash log

Ive used that form 3 times with no response. I guess I would call, but I cant stand the thought of paying $3 a minute to talk about something I already have thousands of dollars invested in.

Did you get an incident number with each of those submittals? If so, can you give those to us, so I can look up what happened?

Can you please generate an installed plug-ins list using the Tech Support Folder and post it here, as well as a list of all installed ReWire capable applications and version numbers?

Sorry, but I dont have incident numbers from my submittals. The email address I used is [email protected]. With my last submission I sent my system profile and a crash log. Sorry to sound like a jerk in my previous post, Im just frustrated. The thing that is so confusing is that I don't use ANY rewire applications. Literally the only software I have installed is ProTools, UAD plugins, 2 Massey plugins, and Waves Gold Bundle. As you can see from my plugins list, I dont even have digirewire in the plugins folder, but is still cited in the crash report! The computer seems only to crash when I have UAD plugins active somewhere in the session. It has never crashed while recording, only mixing in sessions with UAD plugins. Sometimes you can make it through a whole session with uad plugs, sometimes the comptuer will freeze and have to be hard rebooted 5 times in an hour. Universal Audio is working on the problem, but thought you guys might have some insight since digirewire is cited multiple times in thread 0 of the crash log every time. And the crash log reads the same every time.

That's your problem - Melodyne has a ReWire component. Update it to 1.8.1 or higher and your problems should go away.

Sorry, but I dont have incident numbers from my submittals.

Also, I wanted to clear this up. How long ago did you submit a request? If it was more than a few weeks ago, if you submitted correctly, you would have received an email confirmation with the incident number.

If it was more recently, you would have had to create an account where you can track your submittal - you'd be able to see all requests and replies.

If you never got an email with an incident number (using our old system), then it's likely any replies would have been filtered along with the confirmation email by your ISP or spam filter. If you're absolutely positive that filtering is not occurring, then the only thing that could have happened was the request wasn't submitted properly.

I'm going to check with the admin and see if they can find anything under your email address...

That's Melodyne Plugin. Version 1.0.3.1 is the most current, and I don't think that it has a rewire component since it's an RTAS plugin.

Version 1.8.1 only applies to Uno and Essential which of course are rewired.
