Default Still have a big DOUBT

I know what is recommended by all of you and digidesign, but i must insist please be patient

In windows 7 32 bits and in XP, I can record in the same HD where system is without problems.

BUT in Windows 7 /64 bits that's is impossible to do it
why??
only difference is that HD in windows 32 bits is bigger 250 gb
and win 64 bits is 100gb but more than 50% free space
but both are seagate 7200 rpm buffer 16 mb.

Default Re: Still have a big DOUBT

The BIG difference is that PT was written for a 32-bit OS, and for the vast majority of those brave enough to fiddle with it, it just doesn't work with any predictability. The lion's share of us don't have time to be "beta testers" or want the embarrassment of having things not work in the presence of a paying client. This has little or nothing to do with hard drive space or usage. It wasn't written for a 64-bit OS. So where I'm with you totally on the "Be patient" statement, I would direct that patience to sticking with what works until something 64-bit qualified is released.
