Default Paste Backwards

I'm sure i've asked this before, and if I have I apologise (memory of a senile goldfish!), but is there a shortcut or workaround to paste backwards in PT7.3? I'm needing this more than I ever thought I would!

Iīm not quite sure what you mean exactly by "paste backwards" but if itīs the "duplicate region" command (apple-d) Iīm all for it.
Every day I wish there was a backwards function for this.
The workaround is duplicating the track (or the region onto another track) and working with alt-h.

OK, for instance, i've got some crazy noises that I want to put at the start of a track. They build up and have a hit that I want to stop bang on the first kick. Copied the noise and am in line with the first kick. I now want to paste backwards. How do I make this happen?

Hold down command and control and click on the region with the grabber tool. If you want to duplicate backwards just add the option key and cllick. hope this helps.
Peace,
brandon

Thanks again, thatīll make my work a lot easier, but here comes a probably real dumb question: How do I paste forward?
I know how to duplicate forward, but what is the shortcut for jumping forward by its own length? (I checked the guides and didnīt find it)

Thanks,

Martin

Not sure I understand the question but here goes a few ways:

In Shuffle mode: Apple D 2x, delete the middle one

Other modes: Tab to Trans off: Tab takes you to region boundry: Apple V

Does that help?

Thanks blackmacdaddy, but these are exactly the workarounds I already use (plus shift... alt-h).
I was wondering, since brandon revealed this wonderful way to paste backwards with ctrl-Apple and just
the grabber if there was a way to paste forward in a corresponding way.
