Default PT newbie in need of help!

Hi.. so I have an assignment due for class and I'm stuck on the final part. I have imported a song off a cd into a stereo audio track in pt. I then edited the track down to thirty seconds. On a second track containing my edited 30 seconds I performed all the fades and memory locations needed for the assignment and bussed it via Bus 1-2 to a stereo Aux track where I inserted an EQ. My final task is to record this on a Stereo audio track. I have tried bussing it from the aux mix track to the final with no luck. No matter what I try I can't seem to get signal into this final track.. Someone please help!

U really didn't need to bus the 30 track to an OX in the 1st place... But anyways, the 1 with the EQ on'eim, make that output bus 3-4, & on the Stereo Audio track, make that input bus 3-4...

What school do u go to

Thats exactly what I did and I am not getting signal. I've tried using bus 3-4, 5-6, etc and I can't get signal. Just to clarify my output on my aux is 3-4 and my input of my final edit is 3-4 = no signal

There is a 'post-roll flag' at 30s which seems to be keeping the playback cursor from moving.. but I don't see how this would have any effect on my getting signal into the track.

Don't get run over by the OX... get on'eim!

I am curious, too, about which school you're going to. Bussing in PT is remarkably simple, and it was definitely one of the first things I learned about in school.

Otherwise, follow Master Key's advice, and you should be fine.

Ok, I moved the flag and I'm getting signal into the final edit.. however this same flag (at least I think thats whats doing it) is not allowing my playback cursor to move past 30 seconds.. any idea how to remove this or whats causing it?
