Selecting cursor drop in point while track is in playback
Hi... my apologies if this is the incorrect thread for the following query.
i used to be able to drop my cursor anywhere on the track during playback & playback would continue on from that point, my session recently crashed & all preferences were auto-reset for some reason, now i can't find the selection that allows the above-said function. Would greatly appreciate your know-how on this one. Cheers.

Re: Selecting cursor drop in point while track is in playback
Nevermind gang.. got it!... & for those who want your cursor to drop into a clip on the fly without having to stop & start playback, here's the good oil:
1. Go to Options (or right-click in the play arrow) & tick 'Dynamic Transport' 2. This will knock out the 'Link Timeline & Edit Selection' button.. just click it to reactivate & Voila!... You now have a cursor that'll drop in anywhere on the fly without all those pesky stop & starts.. it'll also grab your whole clips (in Smart Tool) on the fly.. You're Welcome!
