INCREASING Font Size for Marker Names, Clip Names, etc...

so Pro Tools has been around for 33 years
and we still can't change fonts size of certain key parts of program,

Avid, PLEASE let us INCREASE size of the tiny marker names, clip names, both on the right side (list), and clip names on actual regions

i have to squint to see them these days...

and i am not interested in changing screen resolution, and increasing size of everything, just these fonts of certain things,,,

wasn't a problem when in was in my 20's and 30's, but now it is ,

is this so hard to implement, ??

anyone else wish they could change size? of this or other things??

oh, and THANK YOU Avid for allowing us to resize the Marker Rows in Memory Location floating window, i can at least see the full names of my markers....

It's not that it's difficult for them to implement the change, it's that it's difficult for the ProTools mix and edit windows to contain as much info as they do with font sizes larger than they are currently.

To counteract this, I've gone with a 34" 4K monitor and increased the Text size in the OS's Display menu. Natively, these monitors have VERY small print that even my surgically-corrected eyes have trouble discerning.

I have a 49” monitor as 1 of 4 monitors
And text size is too small.
There is plenty of room to view text bigger in regions on timeline . And clip list over on right as you can expand it left /right.
Start with clip list and clip region font size PLEASE
Also you can expand markers now, there’s room to view larger font

Yes! Definitely yes to bigger font sizes.
I requested this through the Avid link portal a while ago.
I almost switched to Logic purely because the marker lane and track names were so much easier to read.

For those that don't already wear glasses, maybe a set of 1.25 or 1.5 readers would help

YES!! i forgot about Marker Lanes, those need to be resizable for sure, any or all,
i'd like to give it 2x the horizontal size, and be able to increase font size,
at least up to 50% bigger!!

PLEASE Avid, gice us the option to do so

yes, but even so, fonts are way too small in general,

Font Size to me is as important as Colors on regions and tracks,
i have ot be able to read my markers and clips, as i deal with hundreds, if not thousands daily,
and only thing that separates most of them is a TINY number,

The entire GUI should be sized up (and would have to be in order to enlarge most text).

Not only that, but this decades-old interface could be improved on in a ton of ways. For instance, resizable track header column widths, especially for track names and I/O bus names.

I'm guessing the GUI is not vector-based, but that would be another step. Ableton Live utilizes this to give you a slider that can resize the whole GUI to your liking. Extremely useful for each person's own screen real estate and eyesight.

As versatile and powerful as the GUI is, it's cumbersome to use, pixelated, and microscopic, even all the buttons and icons. Visual design has always been a serious weakness for Avid. Maybe there is grounds to hire a new, specialized team of UI designers to improve the UI/UX.

you read my mind, maybe Avid needs to hire a UI expert,
it's time, this static, unconfigurable UI is way, way, dated,

imagine being able to resize just certain bus faders, and enlarge others, not just narrow, and regular,

imagine i could finally read my clip names, 2 feet away from my screen without squinting,

or memory marker names on lanes, or names of my clips, wow, imagine that

i think if we put enough pressure, or shall i say, voice our opinions, MAYBE Avid would listen???, which leads me to this questions,

WHY is there not a feature suggestion area in this forum?
does Avid not wanna know what its customers want and need??
