S6 showing fader value 0.0 falsely

Why has my S6 starting sometimes show fader value 0.0 even thou the fader can be at -10.
As soon as I move it a tiny bit it then starts showing me the correct value.
It has been doing so for quite a while off and on.
Very annoying. How do I fix this?

Greetings,

I would try a fader calibration. Go to Settings > Surface > then touch the Fader Module in question. Move all of the faders to their furthest extents then set each to 0 dB.

Hi,


I'm pretty sure that it's not a fader calibration thing as all my faders is at zero(physical)if I create 32 new tracks.
I did a calibration a while ago and only a few faders that needed very minor adjustments.

Also, it can at times show the zero value(until I move it slightly)when the fader is at -30 as well.
So this must be something else.
Any ideas what to try?

I would be curious if it is always the same fader within the module which is not reporting correctly?

No this can happen to most faders. Not always thou.
Which makes it much harder to resolve I guess...

Could this be to do with VCA spill ? (after)

I sometimes also have a VCA master. Which most often is kept at zero.
Could my VCA master value be shown on the individual channel(until I move it)?
Not sure what you(Eddie) mean with after.
