Pro Tools MIDI Real Time Properties DLY bug

In Real Time Properties if you set the DLY function to a negative value to compensate for slow attack on MIDI strings, the compensation will only work on every note in the phrase PAST the first note, which will unfortunately play way too early (since the negative DLY compensation for some reason doesn’t work on this first note of a phrase and will well ahead of the beat). I realize this is most likely a bug, but has anyone found a way around it? Some way to trick it perhaps?

Apparently this is a long standing bug. What's up with Avid that they can't address these little troublesome things, when they tout that Pro Tools is the industry standard? Shameful.

Interestingly, the status of the idea is Completed though. Perhaps it was fixed in older versions and then came back at some point.

Yes, hard to know if this is related to the playback bug, it may not be...
