Waveform Zoom Bug
Dear All,
For a very long time I thought that - after some update - S6 had lost the ability to mirror the waveform zoom from the PT edit window. Now, I just realized it actually still works for some tracks that are higher in the session, but only until a certain point. After that point only the waveforms in the edit window will move according to the zoom commands, but not on the S6! In my session this point is between track 305/306. If I count only audio tracks, it's between 214/215. In other words, waveforms on S6 for any track of a higher track number than that will not react to the zoom command. Btw. this happens regardless of whether I use the keyboard shortcuts "cmd+option+[]" or S6 softkeys. Does anyone experience this? Best Gregor |

Couple of questions.. 1. What version of WSControl is installed? 2. What version of S6 Software is installed?

Re: Waveform Zoom Bug
...sorry if I have to throw in a lame BUMP, but this is my number one workflow killer on a daily basis working on feature films. I'm someone who does almost everything from the console and don't look at the ProTools editing window at all, which means more often than not I'm looking at "thick sausage" waveforms that don't reveal what's going on and I can't do anything about it.
I think some flag must be set somewhere that tells S6 to save resources and only adjust waveform until a certain track or folder number. I know inactive folders play a role, but erasing them won't fix the problem. Any updates or possible workarounds would be much appreciated! Best Gregor |

Re: Waveform Zoom Bug
This should have been fixed in PT24.6, are you still seeing it?

Re: Waveform Zoom Bug
These are definitely fixed on upcoming PT + S6 versions as I'm seeing correct behavior here. I can revert if needed if your mileage varies.
