Default Couple questions.

1) Where do I find the specific enhancements and changes made for both D-Command and D-Control as of PT's v7.2

2) My Waves v5.0 EQ & Dynamic plugs are not mapping over to the EQ & Dynamic sections on the D-Command? Do I need a stepped up version?

3) How do you scroll through a plug's presets on D-CMD?

4) In PT's 6.9.3 I could deselect a Focus Fader by being in Foc mode and hitting the SEL button (on the focus fader), now it seems not to work and I have to turn the Focus Faders off via the soft keys just to de-select one focused fader .... am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You'll need the page table support ".xml" file from Waves.

3) How do you scroll through a plug's presets on D-CMD?

Use CMD modifier and "Page Up" when plug-in is focused in custom faders.

Unfortunate fallout (bug) in 7.2. We will restore this in an upcoming release.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Tim that clears a few things up.

Any suggestions for question 1? I am trying to get up to speed asap. Is it a matter of reading the newest manuals or is there a summery somewhere?

That Waves .xml file ... do I have to email them or is it available as a download? What do you do with it?

Regards ...... DG

There's a section at the end of the "What's New in 7.2" (in the Protools-Documentation folder) that discusses new control surface features.

sorry, I previously misled you about selecting/chaning plug-in presets via D-Command. This only works on D-Control.

WRT the Waves' .xml file, it should come standard (or via special request?) with Waves v5.2 or later. The .xml file goes in your plug-ins folder along with any Waveshells.
