Pro Tools First 2021 won't recognize 2019 projects
Upgraded from 2019 to 2021. Backed up 'Project Cache' song projects first, then restored them after the upgrade. The only file that shows up in the 'Open' window is a file I accidentally had saved to the cloud. Does anyone know why and how to fix that?

If I understand Pro Tools First correctly, which, by the way, they’re dumping, the ONLY way to run it is on Cloud sessions…..

Updating Pro Tools First doesn't require backing up/restoring your Projects. If you did a clean install of your OS and Pro Tools First... do you have a system backup that you can recover the Project Locations folder/files from? avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/How_To/How-To-Backup-Pro-Tools-Project-Files describes the folder names & locations for this.

Re: Pro Tools First 2021 won't recognize 2019 projects
I do not have an OS backup. What happened is this: Working in PTF 2019, I got a slide-out message from Avid that a PTF 2021 upgrade was available. Prior to backing up my project files, I followed the link & installed PTF 2021. All seemed to go well and when finished, I clicked on the desktop icon (which looked a little different, indicating the update had been successful). The new startup window appeared, but then I got an error message and it wouldn't open. I then clicked to where my project folders/files were located and they were still there. I backed up my 'Documents' folder at that point onto an external drive and called tech support at Sweetwater where I bought the 2i2 interface. The tech logged onto my laptop remotely and re-installed PTF 2021. It seemed to work, but this time my project folders/files were gone, so I restored them from the backup to the folder where they used to be located. They subsequently didn't and don't show up in the 'open' window.

To clarify: the location of my Project folders/files on my laptop is
c:\users\bill_\Documents\Pro Tools\Project Cache |
