Default 2022.7 - AudioSuite plugins not working? [SOLVED]

Hi - I just upgraded to 2022.7 and installed all the things via the AvidLink - I'm on Monterey 12.0 with a M1 MacbookPro - I noticed that when I select part of a voice track, and go to AudioSuite > Other > Normalize and click Render, there is no change to the audio. If I select another AudioSuite plugin, and click Render - also no changes, but if I preview the selection using the plugin window, I hear the affected audio... any tips...?

Make sure the "Use In Playlist" button is checked.

Yep.... Sometime in last couple updates I noticed my audio in the playlist did not update. I happened to notice a clip was indeed created in the clip list.

Aha! My brain went. I glanced around the plug-in and indeed Use in Playlist was de-selected. Between a "prefs" trashing or a recent update that overwrote this switch, this happened.

After switching back to Use in Playlist, future uses of Audiosuite remember the setting and replaces my clips on render.

This happened to me when I updated to 2022.7 recently. This is an odd default to have.

Thx originalscottyg - that was it - once I activated 'Use in Playlist' it rendered as expected.
