Default MTM Touch Screen Parameters Display

Hello all,

Is there a setting where whatever parameter display I’m currently in, such as pans, sends, or eq, it would stay at that parameter when selecting different tracks? I usually have the pan parameters displayed on the touch screen, so when I select different tracks it’ll stay in the pan parameters. Sometimes I’ll use the send parameters, but when I select a different track, it’ll revert back to the pan parameters.

Not sure if there’s a setting that needs to be enabled but the behavior should act as “last used setting” when jumping through different tracks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You want Home > Local Options (gear). Then for Function and Knob Page Selected on Attention Change - simply set it to Last Selected:

Hi Jeff,

I did select that option, and yet it still does not stay in the last selected function. Is there any other setting I may need to look at.

Are you Attentioning from the DAW (clicking in Pro Tools) or Attentioning from the console?

Hi Jeff,

Apologies for the extreme delay. I’m in a middle of time sensitive project so any valuable downtime I have I will do my best to follow up.

Yes, I am doing both. Attentioning from the DAW and console.

No worries. Be advised that triggering functions from the DAW -> which is all about the Settings > User > Attention Most Recently Clicked DAW Area >

if you are clicking on a Plug-In, Send or Pan, then those functions will be populated into the Master Module or Attention Knobs and or Faders based on the Display Knobs From Most Recently Clicked DAW Area pref.

If you want the Master Module touchscreen to favor Pan on Attention -> go to Home > Local Options (gear) > Function and Knob Page Selected on Attention Change -> choose Pan, else choose LastSelected.

So assuming you are using LastSelected - then DAW triggers like Track Name, Fader, Edit Window and Move Up/Down will keep showing the same type of function into the Master Module until you explicitly click on a function or attention something different from the desk.
