Default Santa Rosa Refresh platform

As I'm shopping around for a new laptop, anyone have any experience running LE on the new Santa Rosa Refresh Platform? I bought the suggested Allenstein desktop setup 5 years ago and it's been running solid w/o any issues; thought I'd check with the DUC elite nerdz to see if any of you had any experience with the latest PC chipsets...seems ridiculous the only "qualified" laptop is a discontinued model...and no, I'm not willing to entertain the idea of purchasing a MAC ev0r. It'd be nice to see digidesign remove its corporate mouth from Apple's stem long enough to run a few compatibility tests on a few PC mobile chip sets...
