Default Drumagog5

hi, i used Drumagog4 for a long time. i was happy the released the AAX version. I have to handle a huge session with 142 tracks and lots of elastic audio. my system load is good, like 28% -42%. so everything smooth. Once i inserted a mono Drumagog5 the system load freaks out over 125%...... even after closing that bad session and loading another session without drum agog it still freaks out. only after quitting protools and restarting Prtotools it is working again, for shure without Drumagog.

i have to do the drum replacements in a separate session. One instance is working with one track........ still system peking up to 64%.

anyone else haven that problem? even with other AAX plug-Ins?
i reported already to Wavemchinelabs. but not much reply.

You don't indicate which version of Protools you're using. I'm on PTHD 10 and find the AAX version unusable. I pull that out of the Avid folder so it just uses the RTAS version in the Digi folder. But if you're on 11, that obviously isn't an option.

Issue is solved with the Dither Plug-In in front of Drumagog. The issue is a processor Problem combined with programming of the Plug-In.

Have you tried Slate Trigger. I used to use Drumagog but when Trigger came out I demoed it and never looked back. I hate to give Rim at Wavemachinelabs a bad review but I gotta say, Trigger really out rocks Drumagog in most every way.

Strange, I don't encounter this issue with Drumagog 5 Pro.
