Default Reason loop audio drop out??

Using Reason 2.5 via Rewire on PTLE 6.2.2 with dual G5 2 Ghz-

OS 10.3.2-
now having audio drop outs at loop point in 8 bar loop with only 8 Reason tracks-

I have searched the forum but can't find a report of this problem-
perhaps it is related to 10.2.2 with 6.2.2, but I wanted to find out if:
1) others have had this problem- any suggestions and
2) is Digi aware of it for 6.2.3 update.

Any help would be appreciated

Scott

are you getting error mesages?

I was and the cpu interupts should say get more RAM. I was on standard 512 and that was the beef until I stuck another gig of ram in there...

I was also getting drop-outs on the rewire stuff too, it seemed to co-incide with moveing knobs on my oxygen 8. again more ram did trick.

now if someone could just tell me why I can't get the takes list popup to popup I will be happy

hopefully karma will prevail

No error messages-
1 Gig RAM-

it's like a hiccup when looping only at the loop point-
only occurs when running PT / Reason via Rewire-

anyone with any ideas?

I'm checking out 6.2.3 later this weekend-

Pro Tools and Rewire aren't really meant to be used with the loop mode in Reason turned on. Copy and paste the passage you are trying to loop and let it play linearly. I think your drop out is happening because Reason is supposed to be slaved to Pro Tools (hence the reason you control tempo from the PT transport, not Reason's), and when reason loops back to the start, it takes a moment for PT to reset back to that point and regain control.

Of course I may be completely wrong, but I don't think so this time.

Not sure if this is your problem but, You have to set your loop points in the edit screen midi track in PT. Not in reason.Just select and drag.
