Pro Tools 10 registration + activation help

OK, I've just bought PT10 student version. I''ve gotten my activation code, typed it into the required field, then I'm taken to a page asking for my iLok information, and below that, my hardware details, with a drop down box listing various mbox's and then space for a serial number to be typed in. These are required fields. I don't own any of these products, I have an m-audio profire 2626.

wtf do I do here?

What exact product did you purchase and from who? Academic sellers tend to be good about helping with issues like this.

I also have the academic version and I don't remember having to enter hardware info. Create an Avid account and an ilok account first:

After you log in to your Avid account look for
My products/download and activate my product.
Enter your code from the card and it will ask your for an ilok id, type your newly created ilok id from the previous steps. After this go to ilok.com and download the license to your ilok

Thats it, same process I did, granted I already owned PT8LE and mbox 2 and had both accounts. I bought the boxed version.

Do you own an ilok or did you buy the boxed version?
