Default Importing Midnam file

Hi

How do I import the Fantom X8 Midnam file into PT 7.4 LE?

Put the .midnam file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\MIDI Patch Names

You're also going to need a .middev file. You can try my MIDDEV Generator, but as I state on that page, I make no guarantees and I can offer no personal assistance with your specific hardware.

Am I to believe that the Fantom X series, the biggest selling workstation of the past 3 years, doesn't already have these files included in ProTools?????

I am genuinely stunned that something so simple in other packages is so difficult and convoluted within PT.
