View Audio Automation Midi View change

Hey Guys when I ( option - ) view audio tracks to view all audio in automation view... my midi tracks switch from Block view to note view as well... why is that ? how is that useful...

Am I missing something ? how can i lock the view of midi tracks while change the view of Audio tracks..
