No Registration Card within my Mbox?!
I dont seem to have been given a registration card in with my Mbox/PTLE package and im not sure if Digidesign believe me! I didnt keep the reciept and thought that maybe the Reg card would be a tear off part of the manual. I bought the Mbox from new from DV so have all the reg codes for the Mbox and PTLE 6.1 (so as its new these wont be registered with anyone else)
But Digidesign say they want the actual card?!! I was told on an email that i can just send in the codes (about 5 codes in all) by email as proof that i have the system, so i did that and another person read the email and said they need the card instead!!! Please help im pulling my hair out here! Surely the codes would suffice? Or can Digidesign send out a new reg card and i fill in all my details in that way?? Any suggestions? as it looks like i have a brand new Mbox set up which cant be registered due to not recieving a peice of Card!!!!! (i even have any codes on the outside of the box/packaging and the cellophane shrink wrap it came in! Thanks

Why didn't you keep the receipt? How did you pay? - By check, credit card or cash? Where did you buy it - they can supply you with a duplicate receipt.

As well your serial # to activate Pro-Tools (if that's what you are looking for) is probably on the inside cover of your "Getting started Guide" booklet that came with your M-Box.

Right so i dont have to register it then with Digidesign?? I do have all the serial codes etc within the manuals for PTLE and the Mbox which is fine, but i thought digidesign want the actual card back?
If thats the case and i can get upgrades etc as normal then i'll just use my PTLE reg codes... What am i missing out on exactly without registering with Digidesign?? ...free pen?!

You will need to be registered to receive upgrades.
