Brainworx bx_console SSL 4000 g jerk problem

I boys, I have problems when using the Brainworx plugin bx_console SSL 4000 G (latest version, 1.6.2) into ProTools 2022.9/2022.10 (Osx Big Sur): When I open it and view the gui, the channel meters start to jerk, as if I were using 100% of the computer resources (which, in reality, are practically zero).
The problem disappears when I close the plugin view (even if it is still active).
It only happens with bx_console SSL 4000 g (I have other Brainworx plugins and they don't give any problems).
I tried with Cubase 12.0.40/12.0.50 and 3 different computer too. Same problem.
I opened a ticket to their support 3 days ago but I have not received a reply.

Do any of you have the same problem?

Plugin Alliance had problems with graphics on Big Sur (everyone did). They wrote and confirmed they were aware and working on it. I upgraded to a new computer and didn't pursue it.

But it's not right to sell a product knowing It has problems...

To be fair, I tell you that Brainworx support answered me and replaced the license of the 4000G with that of the 9000 J (which works perfectly).

I cant say what the issue is for the bx_console SSL 4000G, but I do remember people having issues in the past as their graphics card wasn't capable of running the latest Metal engine.

Given that this is the only plugin, I doubt this would be the case though. Have you tried deleting all the associated files and reinstalling??

The G-Console plugin was particularly bad on BigSur with my older computer (3.46 Mac 5,1 with open Core and RX580). Some of the others were indeed fine. All good now with a Mac Studio and Monterey.

It was one of the (growing list of) things that made me invest in a new machine. :)
