Is Avid MBox 3 and Logic 9 compatible?

Hi I'm new to the forum and have a question about the MBox 3. I have Logic 9 on my Mac 10.6.6 and want to know if my Avid MBox 3 is compatible? I'd like to record vocals with it. I connected it but Logic is not recognizing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
