SOLVED: Where are my plug-ins?
Until now, I have used Pro Tools LE 7.3 on a Windows computer, alongside with my Mbox2 (Factory). Now, I have converted to the Mac platform, running OS X 10.4.10 on a Macbook Pro (2,2 GHz).
Inside Pro Tools, I can find the DigiRack plug-ins, but the Ignition Pack plug-ins (though only the Digidesign Plug-ins) are nowhere to be seen. However, in the plug-ins folder (/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins), all seems to be in perfect order. Has this got anything to do with Intel-based Mac and a lacking update? If that is the case, where do I find it? The IK Multimedia plug-ins bundled in the Ignition Pack popped up in Pro Tools after downloading and installing updates. This fact makes me believe more in my lacking-update-theory. Thankyou in advance. |

Re: Where are my plug-ins?
Same thing happened to me when I switched over from the windows platform to the MAC a week ago. See this post and the answers the folks on this board helped me out with. All my plugins work now. I started with the factory bundle plugins first.
Also I had to update my ILOK (required for the factory plugins). http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...part=1#1217913 Let me know how you make out. BTW the MAC is a great platform (the "newness" hasn't worn off yet). George

Re: Where are my plug-ins?
Thankyou for your answer.
I forgot to mention that prior to the factory plug-ins install, I installed the lates iLok Client software and driver. My IK Multimedia plug-ins work nicely. I have not checked wether the BFD Lite works, and I will have to wait for some Celemony folks sending me a new authorisation code before I can get it working. My problem therefore, at the moment, regards only the Digidesign plug-ins, which I cannot find any update for.. If there is such an update, could you please give me the link? |
