Default Probably a stupid MIDI editing question...

I've read the reference guide all day and can't figure this one out.

I recorded a MIDI track trying to double the live snare drum on another track. Since I did it real-time, I'm getting some flams, and I'm now trying to move the MIDI notes. When I move the MIDI note forward in time (my MIDI note came in too early) another note appears. It has an X through it and I believe it's located where I dropped the original note. This leads to my question.

What is that mystery note? Why is it there? How do I move it or remove it?

Thanks,

Nick

Sounds like your MIDI controller is double triggering. What MIDI controller are you using? How do you have it connected?

I'm sure that's what it is! Thanks, friend!

It's a studiologic sl-880 controller and I was rapping on the key like I was hitting the snare!

So, I'll just select and delete!

Nick
