Default Re: My Eventide and 001

The latency with the "godamn 128 samples thing" is pretty much dictated by the whole concept of a host-based recording system. Without additional hardware there's not a whole lot that can be done about it. It's been exhaustively documented here and elsewhere. It's a known quantity.

Depending on what you're trying to do, there are workarounds. You can always make a clone of what you're sending to the Eventide to use as a send and nudge it forward to compensate for the latency. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There's always a way to make it work. It usually comes down to how much time/patience you have.
