Hello,
A single fader (#12) on our C|24 controller has decided to act up. It no longer responds to any automation movement. - I can still write automation into Pro Tools (9) but the fader won't read it back. - When banking channels this fader is stationary. Doesn't move. - When running the utility tests, the utility can read the faders position but when you do Step, Group, or Slide(?), the fader will not move. - When starting up the C|24, all of the faders slide up then down except for #12. I imagine this means the motor for the fader is dead. If this is the case, is it possible to get a replacement? Thanks! |

Avid has various replacement parts if you contact them and you can find tutorials on the web for taking the unit apart if you're handy. Otherwise just take it to an authorized service technician and they'll do it for you.
