Default The Digidesign Database Folder and how to stop it

Is there any way to stop ProTools from grabbing on to every drive you mount, consequently preventing you from UN-mounting said drive until you quit ProTools? I imagine it's something you do in the Workspace or Task Window, but I can't figure it out. Or perhaps you CAN'T disable that.

Any helpful ideas?

In the workspace window, there is an arrow (upper top left of workspace window), click that and select unmount the volume that you need to unmount. That's it...

Sorry I'm not on my PT system at the moment to describe the "arrow in detail". Good Luck

So I have to do that every time? I can't just tell PT to NOT acquire, say, my ipod when I plug it in?

I'd love to be able to tell PT LE not to use my iDisk. There's now a Digidesign Databases folder on it -- not something Apple intended, I'm sure... And I can't imagine that updating that folder makes PT any more responsive (even on broadband the iDisk connection can be slow!).
