Default New MTRX Studio Does Not Connect to Network

We received delivery of a new MTRX Studio, and we are having trouble connecting it to the network.

We are using a Cat6 Gigabit cable to a gigabit switch which does not light up once the connection is made. DADman does not see it either.

Also, tried connecting directly to the Mac ethernet port. No luck.

Are we missing something stupid? Do we need to go through the Reconfig process?

Does your device power up and show illuminated controls? Have you launched DADman and gone into Settings > Device List?

Hi Jeff.

Thanks for helping out. Yes, it powers up and the front panel lights up.

But, it does not connect to the network. The network switch does not light up, and I cannot see it in DADman Device List, even after refresh.

Let me know if there's anything I can try. Thanks

Just to the right of the IEC cable, there is a recessed reset switch. Try holding that down for several seconds then let it go. You should hear relays click and the unit power cycle itself. Open DADman and go to Settings > Device List and see if you can tick Connect to grab the detected device. Let us know.

Hi Jeff.

As you suggested, I held the Reconfig Button down until it flashed green 3 times, and the unit went through a power cycle. But still no network. Nothing in the Device List in DADman and no network indicators lights on the MTRX ethernet ports or the network switch.

Anything else we can try? Thanks

Stupid thing to ask, but have you tried power-cycling the switch with everything connected and powered up? I run a setup that's similar and anytime I add in any Dante peripherals, the new network connections don't show any activity until I power-cycle the switch itself.

Thanks, but that did not work.

There are no lights on MTRX rear panel network ports that indicate a signal is being sent from the unit. I'm beginning to think the network card in the MTRX is defective.

Just a stupid question, have you tried another network cable? And have you tried both network ports on the MTRX Studio?
