Crossfade default length

How can I choose the Crossfade default length?

The crossfade length is remembered from the last entered value.
In other words, if you use the crossfade dialog to make a 5ms fade, the next time you call up the crossfade dialog, it will already be at 5ms.

It's also found in Setup -> Preferences -> Editing tab.

If all the regions on a track is side by side after grid and I select all the regions and hit crossfade (command + f), would the size be what I choose in the preferences?

With Command Focus On, all you need to press is F. Otherwise, the Fade Dialog will open with your Default setup.

If you for some reason need to have Commands Focus off, you can hit Ctrl-Command-F to create fades, which won't open the dialog box.
