Default Connecting an ADAT interface to a 192I/O

Hi guys,

yesterday I tried for the first time to connect my Motu 8Pre to the 192I/O using and ADAT connection.

I'm able to get the signal of a Mic in to the Motu but not in PT.

The connection are fin I'm going in Hardaware tab and change the Clock source in ADAT but still nothing.

I tested the two ADAT cable and use two spare ones, also I tried the Motu trough ADAT connection on my LE system and it works perfectly.
The sample rate it's for both 44.1.

There is anything that I need to do or flag in the option in order to use it?

My system:

PT HD 2
192I/O
MAC Pro Quad core

Thanks

Matt

Did you properly route everything in the patchbay of ProTools? Which optical in did you use, the one on the digital card or the one that without the SRC capability?

maybe you tried that, but if not...

in the PT hardware setup go to tab 'digital' and set the input format to adat 1-8, then in the 'main' tab you can choose any input to adat 1/2...3/4..5/6 or 7/8

don´t forget to set the clock-source of your motu interface to follow the 192

Hi guys,

thanks for the reply.

I used the ADat on the Digital card and 192 I/O and Motu are sync.

One think the 192 ADAT it's supporting 44.1 or have to set it 48?

Thanks again
