midi studio configuration problem (EMU proteus)

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my EMU proteus 1000 sound module (hardware) to protools. I did it before with version 6 and now I can't get it to work.

I have PT 7/DIGI 002 rack on windows XP SP2.

What I'm doing: I've connected (and checked ;o) the module midi in and out to my 002, I've configured the midi studio with the midnam file. I've imported the midi file to my session and the info is reaching my proteus (I can here the midi file in my proteus with headphones), but I can't get it going back to PT (cables are ok, BTW)

I'm trying to get it working using both midi and instrument tracks and nothing.

Can anyone detail the connection/configuration I should be doing to check it with mine.

MIDI out of Proteus to MIDI in of 002.
MIDI out of 002 to MIDI in of Proteus.
L audio out of Proteus to Line in 5 on 002.
R audio out of Proteus to Line in 6 on 002.
Create a stereo instrument track.
On the Audio input dropdown of the instrument track, select Inputs 5&6.
On the MIDI input dropdown of the instrument track, select the MIDI port that the Proteus is connected to.
On the MIDI output dropdown of the instrument track, select the MIDI port that the Proteus is connected to.

thank you spkguitar... it's working perfectly, even without the bugs from past versions (without instrument tracks).
