Urgent Help Needed!!!
Ok PT 7.2. Mix session at 88.2K 24Bit. all going lovely. Suddenly PT has turned all my fades into crossfades. When ever I try to do a fade it makes it a cross fade (even at the start or end of a region!!!!) These cross fades crash PT when you try to do anything with them!!!!
Am currently saving copy of session to see if that sorts it. Never had this before. Been running solid for 6 months plus. Any ideas?????? |

Re: Urgent Help Needed!!!
Does this happen with any session, or only the one song you are working on? If its only the one song, your session file could be corrupt. This happens to me several times a year. Sometimes the best approach is to load the funky session and then close it. Create a new session (by opening the funky session first, your new session shares the same timeline and i/o setup). Then import session data into the new session from the funky session. Sometimes you need to import tracks by blocks of channels, because one bad channel might be bringing the whole session down.

Re: Urgent Help Needed!!!
Hey thanks Steve,
I've managed to sort it by loading the original session and then importing session data (not audio) from the corrupted session. Lost a few edits but hey at least it's working:) |
