Default Cleaning up PT10 - deleting DAE, plist etc.

Periodically, mildy weird things start to happen and I have a sheet of delete this and that from Digidesign. With PT10 things are a little different and file structure is not quite the same (I think). Is there an updated version of this document? I'm a Mac user?

If not, could you please point me to the existing one?

Thanks,

Ty Ford

Ty,
There's an uninstall utility in your Avid folder. Combined with the Prefs Trash utility listed in the sticky section of the forum above, should be all you ever need. Has been for me.

Well, hello, Drew!

Are you still in Charm City?

Are you saying to deinstall Pro Tools or is there a way, once in the deinstall, to cherry pick the parts you want to pull out?

In the sticky section above? I'm looking and not seeing.

Ty

Yes I am!! (that is if you count the middle of the woods outside of town! )

Here's the prefs trasher.

The uninstall just gives two choices of uninstall.

Hey Ty,

Just follow this video If you want to see manually where everything is located and what needs to be removed....

or the prefs trasher has been solid from what I hear.... I just manually do this...
