Default Recorded audio playing back too early

I was recording some guitar tracks the other day and I noticed that Pro Tools was placing the recorded audio ahead of where it was actually recorded, making it line up improperly with the click, drums, bass, etc. I can fix this by moving newly recorded tracks back until they line up, but there's no way I'm going to sit down and do that everytime I record something. I also tried messing with delay compensation but with no luck.

Running the latest version of PT 10, mac osx mountain lion, mbox mini 3rd gen on a late 15-inch macbook pro.

Could you please choose About Pro Tools from the Pro Tools menu and give us the version number in the lower right corner?

This is not the latest version. 10.3.4 is the latest version. It may not solve your problem, though it is worth updating and trying before contacting technical support.
