seems wierd.......so you can't sync your ilok on your new lion install?

Can you from another computer? B/C even if your ilok is not working it wouldn't be able to open PT9 anyway>...........

im sure you tried another port right? From what i remember that all features of the HD will activate with your ilok license......and your cards installed.....

so do your cards pass digitest????

Indeed, its weird.

Ye, my core card passes digitest fine. IT is also recognized by the system sound preferences and can be used in Logic flawlessly. Im confident that the card is perfectly fine. I'm dealing with a licensing issue, I feel.

I have tried multiple USB ports for the ilok. Also other computers. Nowhere will it be recognized by Ilok.com. "Iloks not found" message appears. So its strange that Pro tools recognizes a PT9 licence on the Ilok. I suppose it must be partially broken.

Today I paid Ilok for an RMA to get a new Ilok and be done with this frustration. Its really bothersome to have to pay extra money to get my licenses to work.

Yeah but it being a hack/Mac makes things more complicated - do u have any other problems with a USB drive? Does ur ilok work on another computer ????

I tested the ilok on a legit Mac laptop. Same thing.... not recognized. Pretty sure it's failed. We'll find out when the new one arrives Tuesday.

Also I think there are two downloads for the ilok. One is the driver so pro tools will see it. The other is client software so your web browser will see it. You do have both of those installed?

Oh and have you tried other web browsers? Although last I heard firefox was unsupported, it has always worked for me.

Yep yep yep.

of course I have installed both drivers and have tried multiple browsers. This problems has halted my business. I have no time for foolish oversights. I have been troubleshooting this thing to death.
