thanx aaron, quite informative video. the new solo and mute functions seem very cool, and the ability to view my midi notes (piano roll) and velocity if i want at the same time is bada**. seems like a very promising update!!! (still no word on how many busses though?)

Yeah Steve, the tutorial is very informative and also expands on that what has already been seen on DTV with the added bonus of the inside scoop and reasons why Digi have made the decisions they have made straight from the horses mouth if you will.

The Track Mute/Solo keyboard shortcuts will be a blissing, I read somewhere on the DUC that Record Enable was also added to that shortcut list but Mr Church did not make mention of that feature so I'm unsure of it's validity.

A couple of points personally I'd like answered concerning the MEW and Score Editor is whether Region-Based Real-Time Properties can be applied to Region Groups and whether Track-Based and Region-Based Real-Time Properties modifications can be applied to the Score Editor.

But above all, this is a killer release!

The upgrade is suppossed to be 149.00. The Superduper toolkit is 1999.00. I'm hoping that they will have a nice upgrade path for those of us that already have both. If I'm reading it right exsisting MPTK/DV2 owners will get 64 tracks at no charge. I haven't seen prices on MPTK>MPTK2 or upgrading the DV Toolkit2.

All will be revealed in due time I'm sure. Sweetwaters posting prices already though.

Thx for sharing, filo.

Damn it's nice to see Digi seems to be paying attention. Sure seems to be breathing some life back into this place.

Only hope it's stable!

cant be worse than the years of pt 6 we endured!!!!!!!!! that was the most unstable program in history i think!!

i am most curious of the mptk > mptk 2 upgrade. for most of us that have mptk it is not many extras so would seem silly to be very much.

as far as 2000.000 for the complete bundle!!!! not very likely to me!!!!! i can still rewire with ableton for more tracks
