Default antares auto tune 4

Anyone use this plug in. I just purchased it and was wondering if someone can shed some light on how to use it. I am reading the manual but always like to ask here at this forum because I always get more info from this DUC then manuals. Thanks

make a copy of the part of the track you want to correct into another track and proocess that selection with the plug - then when it's good, copy that part over the original audio. only correct what is necessary, not the whole track. (if the whole track needs processing, you really need to record it again - preferably with a more skilled vocalist.)

or... if you make bubblegum pop music, just play a midi track of a perfect vocal melody and process any audio from that key with autotune and vocalign you really have enough audio when someone just speaks the correct lyrics :P

JFreak, can you tell me how to physically set up the plug? Do I need to put in the key signature the songs in and what type of scale and is it all by ear or can you see the corrections made?
Thanks

if you know the song, just use the key signature the song has been performed... or if you don't know, use the chromatic scale, which has all 12 keys... of course it is not as accurate, but if the performance is good enough, even the chromatic scale would be enough.

and do use the graphical mode! it might be a little hard to understand at first, but take your time to learn it.
