Don't shoot the messenger, but until we are 100% apple silicon compatible there is no point asking for new features. Yes there may be some, most likely post-related, but time for feature releases is when everything works on the new platform.

The yearly drama is a small issue. This however is same as going from PPC to Intel 15 years ago, or going from 68k to PPC in 90's

Mark my words, it will take three years (one almost done) until it is fully done. And some software will not make the transition.

Pro Tools has always been a Mac program, since its inception. It should be expected.

It's an every year all the time issue regardless of there is a platform switch or not. Other devs are not having the same issues as they did in the other platform switches. Those that used standard APIs and built the apps as Apple has been stating for the last couple of years have minimal or no issues. This one is down to how Avid wants/has to run engineering management.

Oh man..

I have been in DigiDesign beta team during the PPC to Intel transition and I have first hand experience how not-easy it is. Completely different game than yearly OS "major" update.
